NIESHA DAVIS, MSW, LCSW, CAMS-II, CCTP
Niesha Davis is the owner of two mental health practices in Bakersfield, California: Life Connections and InspireMe Counseling and Wellness Center. She is the founder and CEO of YWRAP (Young Women Reaching Accomplishable Places), a mentorship program for at-risk girls. Niesha is a strong advocate for mental health and the mentally ill. She is also a consultant, motivational speaker, and facilitator.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Evangelist, a Certified Anger Management Specialist II, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She is also certified as a Mental Health provider for women who suffer from perinatal/postnatal mood disorders.
Niesha was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. She been helping individuals, children, and families for over 20 years in the fields of Human Services, Case Management, Social Work, and Psychotherapy. She has also worked as a medical social worker with patients/families on dialysis and hospice, in a psychiatric mental health facility, within the legal system in corrections, and in education as a School Social Worker.
Niesha has a wealth of experience in many areas including Child Protective Services, group homes, family resource centers, children and adults with developmental disabilities, single mothers, and pregnant women.
She has a passion for helping others and is on a mission to break the stigma associated with mental health and mental illness. She encourages all to get professional help when needed. Her work is her passion. She considers the work she does in the therapy room to be ministry and feels honored and blessed to be a psychotherapist.
