ARCHIE K. & SIMONIA E. MILTON

The Miltons are native New Orleanians and former music teachers in Orleans Parish and Plaquemines Parish Schools with a combined eighty years of music education between them. As a result of Hurricane Katrina, the Miltons evacuated just north of Dallas to Lewisville, Texas, “The Land of their Grandchildren”.

The dynamic couple has been married for over 50 years. They are the proud parents of three children, and two grandchildren. In Lewisville, Simonia is a retired vocal music teacher, while Archie continues teaching instrumental music in a charter school. They spread their flavor of New Orleans through good music and good home cooking.

The Miltons are members of Fellowship Church in Grapevine, TX, where they serve in music ministry and as leaders of a Senior Married Bible study. The Miltons are also a part of American Christian Songwriters Association (American CSA), and CD baby. They actively minister in the DFW area.
Archie and Simonia have performed in many venues in the greater New Orleans metropolitan area and Texas. They have also traveled abroad as missionaries to Honduras, Peru and Australia, conducting seminars, and ministering through gospel music in English and Spanish to the delight of all who listened.

The Miltons’ third project entitled, Faith Through The Storm was recently released.

“Having the book in our hands gave us such an humble feeling of thankfulness and gratitude to God for allowing us to complete She’s Vocal/He’s Instrumental. It is such a beautiful professional package which can be displayed everywhere books are sold. The cover says it all. Thanks to the publisher for a job well done. Blessings.” -Archie & Simonia Milton
