DONNIE FEATHERSTONE

Pastor Donnie R. Featherstone did not accept Christ at an early age. After becoming sick and tired of a dead-end lifestyle, he came to Jesus on December 18, 1990, and was filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. Unfortunately, he backslid a couple of months later due to a strong urge to please his flesh and yielded to the call of crack cocaine. God reclaimed him back to the fold, and he finally submitted to the will of God on January 17, 1992. He came to Jesus just as he was: “torn up from the floor up—beat down from the feet down.” God finally delivered him from an eight-year crack addiction.

Unemployed and armed with a high school diploma and a few community college credits, Pastor Don began seeking the kingdom of God. God quickly began elevating his heavenly FICO SCORES, blessing him spiritually and naturally. Pastor Don has been married to Leading Lady Shirley Featherstone for over 30 years. They have a beautiful family of seven children, 15 grandchildren, and one great-grandson.

In July 1998, Pastor Don was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) under the Late Bishop Jessie W. Dickens of the California Western Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. He was installed as the Senior Pastor of Faith Temple Empowerment Church (FTEC) in February 2002. Pastor Don has served in numerous capacities on the Jurisdictional level, including Evangelist President, Chief Adjutant, District Superintendent, and Administrative Assistant. On the National level, he serves as a National Adjutant for COGIC, Inc. Currently, he serves under the great Bishop Bob Jackson in the California West Coast Jurisdiction as a Pastor and Jurisdictional Chief Adjutant.

As Senior Pastor of FTEC in Richmond, California, a powerful church of deliverance, the VISION is to build bridges to the Kingdom of God by equipping individuals and families, empowering them in the word, family, life, health, and work. The Mission is PEOPLE: Person’s Exhorting Other Promoting Learning and Ethics! Pastor Don has been working with the broken, forgotten, and less fortunate for the past quarter century to rebuild hope in God and self-worth. By faithfully teaching and preaching the gospel of deliverance, many lives have been transformed from drugs, alcohol, and the mental and physical scars of abuse. God is faithfully delivering people from the power of darkness.
